Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO) License

The Standardization and Regulation Directorate of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology provides the service of issuance and renewal of license for Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO). The equipment consists of Low Noise Block Down Converter (LNB) and Receiver. Customers can import the Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO) form foreign country or can purchase the receiver locally from authorized importer. 
 In order to get the Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO) license issued, customers are required to present their service request by filling up application form and submit together with required documents. The license issued by the ministry is valid for a period of one year and required to be renewed every year.

License for Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO) can be provided to customers who want to import the equipment from abroad or purchase locally from authorized importer.

Requirements

customers who want to import the equipment from abroad are required to:

• Fill and submit service application form
• Attach technical manual that describes technical details of the equipment
• Attach custom invoice, airway bill, or bill of loading
• Attach custom goods receipt
• Pay amount of service fee determined for the service

For customers who purchase the equipment locally from authorized importer are required to:

• Fill and submit service application form
• Purchase invoice issued by the importer which describes type, model and serial number of the equipment
• Pay amount of service fee determined for the service.

For the service of renewal of license for Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO), the customer is required to submit filled service application form attached with previously issued certificate of license for Satellite Television Receive Only (TVRO),
